REMOVEDOUBLEREGIONS
REMOVEDOUBLEREGIONS finds duplicate regions (regions lying exactly on top of each other), keeps one copy and removes the remaining duplicates.
Starting
Type REMOVEDOUBLEREGIONS on the command line, or use the button in the ribbon on the SCAD Core tab, General Tools panel.
How it works
- If you preselected objects, those are checked. If nothing is selected, all regions are checked.
- Regions with the same area, perimeter, position (bounding box) and orientation count as duplicates. Values are rounded to 4 decimals for the comparison.
- From each group of duplicate regions one is kept and the rest are erased.
- The command reports
RemoveDoubleRegions: N unique kept, M duplicates removed. If there are no regions, it reportsNo regions found.
