SCZOOMCYCLE

SCZOOMCYCLE steps through a selection one object at a time and zooms to each object. Handy for checking a row of blocks, luminaires or cabling one by one without having to zoom yourself every time. Your selection stays intact, also afterwards.

Starting

Type SCZOOMCYCLE (or the alias ZOOMCYCLE) on the command line, or use the button in the ribbon:

  • SCAD Draw / View tab, View panel (SCZOOMCYCLE)

How it works

  1. Preselect the objects, or pick them when the command asks: Select objects to cycle through:.
  2. The command zooms to the first object and asks: Object 1/N [Next/Previous/Exit] <Next>:, where N is the number of objects.
  3. Pick an option, or press Enter for Next. The command zooms to the next or previous object.
  4. Repeat until you are done. Choose Exit or press Esc to stop.

After the last object the command starts again at the first one, and from the first one Previous takes you to the last one. The original selection is restored at the end.
